Scotland ( I )
This set was made in May 2010, mainly within the Highlands. Started in Pitlochry, the journey lead us to Thurso and John o’Groats. It was mainly based on landscape photography, with a few non visual but interesting stops (Talisker and Pitlochry distilleries).
Back home, I selected around 60 images and created a book, each image being accompanied by a Haiku. This work earned an award from the French Federation of Photography in the photography book contest of 2011.
I keep an excellent souvenir from these three weeks in Scotland, which is a magnificent, warm and welcoming country and which I visited many times.
We were lucky to avoid the ‘’midges’’. We were also lucky to see forests full of bluebells.
Unfortunately, we missed the puffins by a few days, and Nessie by a few centuries.
I believe in fact that these images do not really require comments.
